M&G is a second-generation family business that provides collection care services for private clients, museums and galleries. Director/Head Technician/Supervisor: Matt Yates has over 15 years of experience at M&G Transport and Technical Services (unofficially he’s been doing the job since he was about 5 years old!). Matt is responsible for and highly experienced in all aspects of art handling, packing and transportation. He is responsible for team management, risk assessments, health and safety and workshop management. Matt is a proficient joiner and innate problem solver.
Projects/Administration: Gemma Yates, MA is Curatorially trained, working previously in Curatorial and collection care roles at MIMA, Middlesbrough Institute of Art, Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle and most recently at The Hepworth Wakefield. Gemma is responsible for all project management.
